Ü’ve had trifle before, we know, but this is a little different. For a start, other trifles put the fruit at the bottom. We put it right at the top, so that the lusciousness of sweet strawberries and ripe raspberries is the first thing to get ür tastebuds tingling. Then, before ü know it, ü’re being soothed by whipped fresh cream, satisfied by soft vanilla sponge and finally set adrift on a sea of rich, smooth custard made with real Bourbon vanilla.
